Ballot Form

This form must be submitted by 11:59pm on Wednesday of 0th week (22nd April). This expresses your interest in playing Ex Nihilo, and allows you to choose how you would like to respond in the event of a ballot.

Character Creation Form

Once you know if you have successfully gotten into Ex Nihilo, you will need to create a character. You will then need to submit this Character Creation form (or email us – see how here) by 11:59pm on Thursday of 0th week (23rd April).

Balloting Information

Ex Nihilo will accept a maximum of 16 players. In the event of over-subscription, we are using a computerised balloting system to decide who these places will be allocated to. The ballot will be done jointly with Palimpsest with a view to ensuring that as many people as possible get to play in a game. You will be able to state which, if either, game you would rather play in. Balloting will be done in the following priority groups:

There is also be an option on the ballot form to opt out of balloting if the game is oversubscribed and join the GM team, which will expand the available places for other people.

Results will be released on our Discord servers; if you do not have access to these, please let us know so we can send you the results by email. After this, if there are any places remaining, anyone who did not participate in balloting for any reason will be able to claim them at the GM teams' discretion and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The balloting will be run using this code, with config.py modified to reflect the options available to these games.

The ballot form can be found here.
